26th Technical Symposium on Astronomy (1)

The 26th Technical Symposium on Astronomy is being held, from September 6 through 8, in the large seminar room of Data Analysis Building in Mitaka Campus of National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. The program includes 12 presentations related to the ALMA project, and about 60 people attended the symposium, including members of the ALMA receiver development team and university engineers. The picture shows Takakiyo Suzuki, Technical Expert, answering the question about the verification results of the bias current sensing function of the SIS mixer device which will be applied to the ALMA receiver.
