The 12th ALMA Public Lecture titled Universe explored by the gigantic radio telescope in the Andes EFrom the cradle of stars to massive black holes was held in the planetarium of the Osaka Science Museum on November 18. After the projection of the Starry sky in the AndesEby the planetarium, two lectures were presented: Universe, Solar System, Earth, and Life EOur origin and future leaned through observations EEby Seiichi Sakamoto, associate professor; and Monsters lurking in the galaxiesEby Naomasa Nakai, professor at the University of Tsukuba.
