On the second day of the 26th Technical Symposium on Astronomy, there were many presentations related to ALMA. Following the first presentation of the day given by Kurazo Chiba, Chief Research Engineer, who talked about the current status of the ALMA project, some presentations were made on the new technologies introduced in the ALMA project such as new document control system, and components and devices under development in cooperation with Advanced Technology Center. The picture shows Kyoko Nakamura, Chief Engineer, answering the question about the ALMA document control process. For the ALMA project, establishing an effective document control system is one of the major technical challenges, because the development of ALMA is undertaken by many researchers and engineers in various parts of the world.
