Another new North American 12-m antenna arrived at the Array Operations Site (AOS) at 5000 m asl. This brought the number of antennas at the AOS to 37.

While we are having a hot summer here in Japan, it’s the middle of winter in Chile, which is located on the other side of the world. As you can see in the photo, there are patches of snow on the ground. In the middle of the antenna array, there are closely-spaced smaller Japanese 7-m antennas.
