A fixed-point web camera, installed in the construction site of the ALMA Operations Support Facility (OSF), has started operation, and its real-time images are seen at www.alma.cl. During nighttime hours in Chile, you can enjoy the night skies over the OSF using the constellation camera i-CANE The picture on the left was captured by the web camera, showing the construction site at around 20:00 on November 1, local time. The camera is set facing approximately south, and the OSF is at a higher altitude eastward from here (to the left in the picture).
