Two engineers from the Japanese manufacture of the ACA correlator visited the lodging facility at the OSF (Operations Support Facility) and the ACA correlator room at the AOS (Array Operation Site) Technical Building in order to draw up preliminary plans for installation work. The picture shows the two engineers standing on the floor of the ACA correlator room. The surface of the concrete foundation for the correlator room is placed lower than the surrounding areas to make the raised floor on it. An air conditioning system with sufficient cooling capability in a low pressure atmosphere will be set up on the second floor.
