Before the 3rd Japan-China ALMA Science Workshop scheduled for April 13 and 14, ISM (Interstellar matter) sub-working group and Extragalactic sub-working group held their meetings at the National Central University and the Chinatrust Hotel in Taiwan, respectively. For the completion of ALMA in 2012, researchers from Japan and Taiwan had active discussions on the potential target objects and a possible preliminary survey using existing instruments. The picture was taken at the Extragalactic sub-working group meeting. Plans for a large-scale joint survey using ALMA and Subaru Telescope were discussed.
