ALMA Science Advisory Committee (ASAC) meeting was held in Santiago on October 1 and 2. From Japan, six people attended the meeting including Yasuo Fukui (Nagoya U.), Munetake Momose (Ibaraki U.), Satoshi Yamamoto (U. Tokyo). The picture shows Ewine van Dishoeck from the Netherlands, a member of the committee, giving a presentation of the latest research developments at a gathering for discussion held at Department of Astronomy at the University of Chile on September 30, the day before the ASAC meeting.
