Mitaka Network University held an event called “Astronomy Pub”,one of the popular features of the University, with a talk show inviting Professor Masato Ishiguro, ALMA-J Project Director and Professor Yoshiaki Taniguchi at Ehime University. The maximum number of participants of this event is 15 and there were a wide age range of people from 20s to 70s this time. After the talk about the universe revealed by the newly developed observational equipment and ALMA, the participants enjoyed conversation with the two professors while eating and drinking. The picture shows Professor Ishiguro offering cocktails with pisco talking about Chile. Talks about the universe in a relaxed atmosphere gave rise to a lively conversation among participants. Enjoyable two hours passed very quickly.
