From June 22 through 25, the Critical Design Review (CDR) for Band 4 and Band 8 receivers, developed by ALMA-J, was held in Mitaka, and their final design was approved by the review committee which included some members from overseas. After completing some tasks assigned by the review committee, the Band 4 and Band 8 development team will soon enter the production phase. The picture shows the participants in the review, including Band 4 Team Leader Shinichiro Asayama (in the middle of the front row) and Band 8 Team Leader Yutaro Sekimoto (at the far left of the back row) with reviewers from overseas.
