On the afternoon of the second day of ALMA Users Meeting 2011 (January 14), the CASA tutorials were given to those who were interested. CASA is a data analysis software to be used for the ALMA telescope. A total of about 50 participants, who already have experiences of observations and analysis of data from a radio telescope, attended the tutorials. After the instructions on functional characteristics of CASA, they actually performed data analysis with CASA on data obtained with VLA (Very Large Array).
