In Santiago, bus drivers seemed to learn the new bus routes, and bus service finally started. The system was changed, however the way of driving of bus drivers is as dangerous as before. As there is no bus schedule (there used to be no bus stop) and drivers work on commission, they tend to race a bus to overtake other buses and pick up as many passengers as possible. The picture shows the bus stop near the Joint ALMA Office. This is the same phenomenon as the two adjacent elevators going up and down simultaneously. Having said that, the situation is much better because it became slightly easier to identify the three-digit number of a hell-bent bus from a distance and flag down the bus.
