People must have a health check just before visiting the Array Operation Site of ALMA at an altitude higher than 5000 m. They are required to submit a written permission to work at AOS prepared by industrial physician every year, and to have a simple health check in advance of the visit to AOS. This picture was taken during the health check of Masahiko Ota (safety manager of ALMA-J) having examination of blood pressure, pulse and oxygen concentration in blood. This visit to AOS gave him new insights on the safety management in the construction area.
