On the second floor of the AOS Technical Building of ALMA, installation work of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) for the ACA Correlator has been proceeding. The picture shows the setting of an enormous air handler set. This gigantic HVAC is capable of keeping the required air volume in the environment where the atmospheric pressure is about half that of sea level. It will be delivered in three pieces and assembled on site, because of its size. [Photo provided by NRAO/AUI]
