NAOJ Mitaka Campus held its 2008 Open Campus on October 25. Even though it was unfortunately cloudy on the day and star gazing event was cancelled, Open Campus 2008 recorded more than 3000 visitors. The ALMA-J Project Office presented: mini-lectures; poster exhibition; experiment to receive BS radio waves; interferometer experiment; and Origami parabola antenna, etc. The picture shows an ALMA-J staff member, Junji Inatani (Antenna Team Leader: in the middle) explaining the ALMA construction site at the diorama corner.
