An NHK BS space program featuring the ALMA Telescope will be broadcast this week. The program will introduce ALMA that has just come into operation with its historical backgrounds. The program will focus on Japanese astronomers who have made significant contributions to the progress of the ALMA Project to date, with commentaries on radio astronomy that has opened a new window to the universe and mysteries of the universe to be explored by ALMA.
