We sometimes see a domesticated llama (a type of the camels) around San Pedro de Atacama, the closest village from the ALMA construction site. The picture shows a road sign I found at the intersection with a bypass passing around the village. The sign says “Llama prohibited”, instead of “Beware of the llama”. A STOP sign was on the right side of the road, and this sign was on the left side. I guess the llamas around here are keeping to the left side.
