The NAOJ Open House Day 2012 was held at the Mitaka Campus on October 26 and 27.

NAOJ ALMA presented poster/diorama exhibition, mini-lectures, and others. Since the first ALMA science result was released this year, we used beautiful images of astronomical objects observed with ALMA and photos of antennas at the Array Operations Site (AOS) on the exhibition. Visitors seemed to have been impressed by the ALMA images demonstrating its unprecedented observing capability.

During the event, the NAOJ official blog posting members wearing yellow uniforms visited the ALMA building many times for real-time updates.
