A new photo of the Comet PANSTARRS arrived from the ALMA Operations Support Facility (OSF) in Chile. You can find the comet with a long tail at a low altitude under clouds over the North American 12-m antenna at the OSF at 2900 m asl. [Photographed by Tsuyoshi Sawada]

Since the OSF is located on the west-facing slopes of the Andes, we can command a panoramic view of the westward sky.
