Planetarium Creator Takayuki Ohira Visits ALMA Site

Takayuki Ohira who developed the world’s most advanced planetarium projector called “MEGASTAR” visited the ALMA site in Chile from June to July this year. His visit will be broadcast on NHK’s satellite channel this week. In the program, Ohira, the creator of the planetarium projector that can reproduce five million stars, will see incredibly beautiful star-filled night sky at the ALMA site. The program also shows Japanese researchers who work for the ALMA project in Chile.
