Array Operations Site in Chile had an unexpected snowfall from the end of April to the beginning of May, in contrast to the recent summer-like heat in Japan.
Because of the snow that was rarely seen at the dry, high altitude site (above 5,000 m asl.), we were pressed to work on emergency tasks for the ALMA antennas out in the cold.(Picture provided by Takahiro Naoi)
