A public lecture titled Messages from the UniverseEhosted by National Astronomical Observatory of Japan was held for undergraduate and graduate students. This event was also intended to provide guidance for applicants for Graduate University for Advanced Studies, and about 50 students (mostly undergraduate) participated.
