Science Cafe at Kogakuin University

On March 9, Kogakuin University held a Science Cafe titled “The Universe is Filled with Mysteries- III” as part of the university extension program Kogakuin Open College. At the lecture, Masaaki Hiramatsu, assistant professor and EPO Officer at the NAOJ ALMA-J Project Office, talked about the unknown universe explored by ALMA. The event attracted about 50 people from young to old. The participants attentively listened to the lecture and asked many questions about the ALMA receiver system, images obtained by test observations, and early universe observed by ALMA, etc.
