On July 31, three days after the arrival of the sixteenth antenna at the Array Operations Site (AOS) at 5000 m asl, one more Japanese 12-m antenna was transported to the AOS from the Operations Support Facility (OSF) at 2900 m asl. This brought the number of antennas at the AOS to 17. Among these seventeen antennas, there are four 12-m antennas developed and manufactured by Japan. [Photographed by Teruomi Tsuno (NAOJ)]
