Following the 2nd Atacama Conference, TAO staffs conducted a visit to the top of Mt. Chajnantor (5650 m asl), a candidate site for Tokyo Atacama Observatory (TAO)Eplanned by the University of Tokyo and 16 people participated. From the top of the mountain, we could command a view of the Laguna Verde (green lagoonEin English) of Bolivia far in the distance. As the altitude of Mt. Chajnantor is 600 m higher than that of the ALMA construction site, an ambulance of ALMA accompanied the tour in case of high-altitude disease, but no one needed treatment during such a short-time visit. The picture shows the participants of the tour.
