We are pleased to announce the release of a new film documenting the manufacturing process of the Japanese ALMA antenna. This film shows how the Japanese 7-m and 12-m main reflectors are manufactured with images and interviews with designers and craftsmen. Their comments make us aware that the ALMA antenna is made by the sincere efforts of many component manufacturers to achieve highest standard of quality and accuracy.
