From December 11 through 12, the ASTE Science Workshop was held at NAOJ in Mitaka. In the workshop, they summarized past achievements of ASTE, and held active discussions on how to advance future submillimeter spectroscopic observations with ASTE and technological development for ASTE, focusing on ALMA.
