On the second day of the Japan Geoscience Union Meeting 2007, Watanabe Junichi, Associate Professor at NAOJ, gave a lecture titled “Definition of Planets and Pluto −New and Expanded Vision of the Solar System”. The picture shows Associate Professor Watanabe talking about the positioning of Pluto in front of the capacity crowd. He said he felt sort of sad, when Pluto was excluded from the planets.
