NRO (Nobeyama Radio Observatory) held its 2008 Open Campus on August 23. Even though it was unfortunately raining, 2317 people visited this years Open Campus event. The ALMA-J Project Office presented: mini-lectures; exhibitions of posters and a diorama; radio wave receiving simulation using small rubber bowls; ALMA quiz; and Origami parabola antenna, etc. The picture shows Koh-Ichiro Morita, Associate Professor at the ALMA-J Project Office, explaining the ALMA Project at the poster exhibition corner.
